Owner
Born & raised in Guelph, Ontario, Karyn relocated to the island to attend the University of Victoria in 2011. With a strong business background and a passion for all things photography, Karyn opened and ran a commercial photography business in 2013 that provided her the opportunity to travel often and work at incredible events and shoots all over Canada. While always dreaming of working in real estate after buying, renovating and selling several homes herself, Proper Measure offered a unique opportunity to combine her creative entrepreneurial spirit with her previous technical experience. Outside of being behind the camera, flying her drone or creating floorplans, Karyn is an avid cyclist and enjoys a good “scavenger hunt” on the golf course as well as cooking and spending time with her husband Matt and dog Jay. Karyn is excited to join the team here on Vancouver Island and to continue to build Proper Measure while expanding the service offerings to help realtors achieve their sales goals.
